Located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada the Ucluelet First Nation (UFN) traditional territory is spanned out over nine reservations. The main village of the UFN, Ittatsoo Reserve No. 1 (IR1) holds a population of approximately 200 residents and is located 28 kms from the rural community of Ucluelet.1

The organizational structure of the UFN begins and coincides with the Tyee Hawiih (traditional leader), the First Nation membership, the Chief and Council, standing committees, and the administration.
The village has facilities such as the Ucluelet First Nation Administration Office, Health Centre, treaty office, a fire hall, the Ucluth Development Corporation Building, and Marina.4
