Located in Agassiz, Brigish Columiba, the community of Seabird Island Band is located on a 1,820 hectare island bordered by the channels of the Fraser River.

Seabird Island Indian Band has a large health care facility and the Seabird Island Community School: Lalme' Iwesawtexw. The Band operates a restaurant, gas bar, and convenience store. It also has a hazelnut orchard, a sheep farm, a cottonwood plantation and leases of cultivated land.
