Nuxalk

Salishan languages are spoken in much of the southern half of British Columbia. They are also spoken in the United States, in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Coast Salish and Interior Salish are two subgroups of the Salishan language family that are spoken in British Columbia. In addition, the Salishan language, Nuxálk differs considerably from the others and is considered a seperate subgroup by itself.
