Tsartlip is home to the Saanich Indian School Board (SISB) which serves the four Saanich Bands; Tsartlip, Tsawout, Pauquachin and Tseycum. The SISB is the education authority for WSANEC and language authority for the SENCOTEN language. The numbers reflected in the First Nations Operated School section refers to the whole school learning the language including all members from the other bands that the SISB serves.
