To date there are at least 75 non members, non first nations people residing on reserve wanting to assist with maintaining Gitsegukla Culture & Heritage; basically understanding the importance of teaching our children, youth, adults & elders the authentic first nations art & carving and utilizing this specified trait as a preventative measure by utilizing the certified carver and by not losing the proper techniques to carve and depict the true history of our people; via telling the story through totem poles carved by our children, youths, adults & elders.
