The main community of the Huu-ay-aht First Nation, Pachena Bay (Anacla Reserve), is located approximately 12km from Bamfield on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The Huu-ay-aht have a long and proud history in their traditional territories. Their histories extend back to the beginning of time, and tell of many great people, adventures, traditions and deeds. The main community in Anacla on Pachena Bay has a band office, recreation centre, health centre and the new House of Huu-ay-aht.
