Diitiidʔaatx̣

Language Family: Wakashan

Language known as: Ditidaht, Nitinat

Diitiidʔaatx̣ is spoken by peoples in the southwest part of Vancouver Island. The language is similar in some ways to their Nuučaan̓uɫ (Nuu-chah-nulth) neighbours to the north but has major differences in pronounciation as well as some vocabulary.
